School Lunch

We are operating under California’s Universal Status law, which allows all students to receive meals free for the entirety of the school year. However, our school relies on families completing the Universal Benefits Application for educational funding throughout the year.

Wellness Committee

The Wellness Committee consists of staff, parents, and community members who gather twice per school year to respond to gaps in nutrition education and physical activity at our school. This folder contains the meeting recordings, the Policy, and other resources. To join the next Wellness Committee meeting, please email rcampa@francophoneschool.org.

Required Document for School to be Eligible

Please complete one form per household and submit it to the office manager at your child’s campus or email rcampa@francophoneschool.org.

Universal Benefits Application – Spanish

This application may qualify your child for benefits such as Summer EBT/SUN Bucks, internet
access, school transportation, and more. Inquire with your child’s school district to learn what
benefits may be available to them. Completing this application will not impact your student’s
ability to receive school meals at no cost. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services do not consider health, food, and housing services
as part of the public charge determination. Therefore, submitting this application will not hurt an
individual’s immigration status.
Note: A non-household member may be designated as the authorized representative for
application processing purposes if they have difficulty completing the application process.
Please follow all steps printed in each section of the Universal Benefits Application, so we can
determine your eligibility properly for Summer EBT.
If you intend to move, or have recently moved, you should apply for benefits in the state where
your child will complete or completed the school year immediately preceding the summer
operational period.

If your child requires a meal modification based on a medical need, please submit a doctor’s note with the Medical Statement for Meal Modification form to rcampa@francophoneschool.org
