Community events are more than gatherings — they're essential opportunities to strengthen bonds, celebrate diversity, and create shared experiences that make our school feel like home.
Kick off the school year in community and come meet new friends! Join Francophone families at the Manzanita Picnic Area at Robert Redwood Recreation Area for hamburgers, hot dogs, and a shared potluck.
Every first Thursday of the month. A kid-free evening of food, drinks, and good company at Good Times in North Oakland.
Plant, paint, and tidy our campuses together. Bring gloves—tools, snacks, and good company are provided. All ages welcome, at both campuses.
Costumes, classroom parties, and the Dads Club’s famous Haunted House—a thrilling, safe, and beloved tradition at the Lower Campus.
Holiday crafts, community booths, local vendors, food, and treats. Gather at the Upper Campus, in front of the cafeteria.
Every classroom is a gallery! Explore student artwork at the Lower Campus, with all classes open and students showcasing their creations. All families welcome.
Meet our young scientists! Students showcase their experiments, projects, and discoveries at the Upper Campus. Come see what they have been working on.
Hang out with friends, earn prizes, and raise money for Francophone. The walkathon, dunk tank, and pizza party support French-language curriculum materials, Chromebooks, and teacher visas and credentialing.
Bring your tent! All families are welcome for a weekend of campfires, hikes, and s’mores with the Francophone community.
Bienvenue, new families! Meet future classmates, teachers, and families for a morning of games and play.
