Oakland Unified School District

Francophone Charter School of Oakland is a public charter school authorized by the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD). We operate with the autonomy to innovate while maintaining accountability to our authorizer and the communities we serve.

OUSD’s Board of Education approved our charter and serves as our authorizing agency — overseeing our program to ensure we meet educational standards and accountability requirements under California charter school law.
