Our Approach
Building Strong Foundations
We use a well-rounded curriculum designed to build students’ knowledge across all subjects while supporting their social and emotional development. Our approach ensures that students grow academically and graduate fully prepared for middle school — confident in both their bilingual and bi-literate abilities.
Students entering in TK or Kindergarten need no prior French experience. Our immersive approach and supportive community help all students develop strong language skills naturally over time.
Full-Day Kindergarten
Yes — all-day kindergarten increases student exposure to French and helps language skills develop more quickly. Our full-day program provides a rich, immersive environment where young learners can explore, play, and grow in both languages.
What Students Learn
A balanced literacy approach building skills through whole-group, small-group, and independent configurations covering speaking, listening, reading comprehension, phonics, and writing.

Eureka Math — an inquiry-based curriculum aligned with Common Core — equates mathematical concepts to stories, developing conceptual understanding and multiple problem-solving strategies.

Students engage in scientific inquiry through the FOSS Program — a research-based curriculum from the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley — developing tools and strategies to deepen conceptual understanding of the natural and designed worlds.

An inquiry-based program aligned with California State Standards covering history, geography, civics, and economics — with hands-on projects, a focus on global citizenship, arts integration, and cross-curricular connections.
